On-the-job training Safe work environment We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Store Manager for to oversee all aspects of our Mattituck location.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management and a deep understanding of outdoor power equipment such as lawnmowers, chainsaws, snow blowers, generators, pressure washers, and more.
The Store Manager will be responsible for enhancing customer satisfaction, meeting sales and profitability goals, and managing staff effectively.

Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth functionality and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Set sales targets, maximize profits, and provide accurate sales forecasts.
Develop strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales, and increase profitability.
Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service.
Address customer concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
Monitor and manage inventory levels, including regular stock checks and liaison with suppliers.
Hire, train, and oversee employees, establishing a culture of excellent customer service and team collaboration.
Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations.
Promote safe use and handling of outdoor power equipment among both staff and customers.
Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
Stay up-to-date on knowledge of products, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
Work Conditions:
Applicants must be willing and able to work indoors and outdoors in all elements Applicants must be able to tolerate physical effort including the handling of objects (up to 50 pounds) Able to safely work with a wide variety of equipment Ability to operate heavy equipment a plus Ability to stand for long periods of time Wages &

Strong knowledge of outdoor power equipment, their operation, and maintenance requirements.

Proficient in MS Office Suite/Google workspace with experience in CRM/ERP software a plus Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Customer management skills; able to understand and respond to customer needs.
Ability to manage, lead, and develop a team effectively.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
